During one of the first brainstorms we had Heather had mentioned using a static box to place information in. I really liked this idea because it meant that rather than having the information down one side and restricted the space we could use for photos it meant photos could be full bleed across one or two pages. We all tried out some versions of how it might work, using different colours etc Here are some of the ones I came up with. Also we decided that it would be nice to have all product shots which include a whole range or are from a birdseye view in a grid, with some close ups to show detail. So here I've used a selection of photographs from design sites etc which have a similar approach.

Did actually try one without the box, using the line to separate name and information, then continuing this line in the format of the pages numbers.

Looking at the position of the box and the potential for a horizontal one, but it makes the information sit funny and I don't like it.

Looking at the idea of using a coloured box range left, the positioning is alright but the colour may not work for all photo's. It's ok for this colour palette but there is a danger that with such a large block of colour it may clash with some of the work in the book, and the whole point is so that the work stands out.
