I took the thank you message off the back of the card and applied it to the front. This way the two purposes of the card are separated onto the two sides. I also tested with punctuation so that it hinted at something being on the other side. Originally I had used bauer bodoni on the back of the card but after working on some of the web stuff I thought univers would be better. It also reads better and doesn't run the risk of becoming elitest. Also I started looking at colour. I asked around to see what colours people thought were optimistic and symbolised equality. some of the colours mentioned were blue, purple, orange, yellow and green. I ruled green and yellow out mainly because they use yellow at the moment and as a main colour it's difficult to find another colour which sits well with it and also I wouln't be able to have the white type anymore. Green I didn't develop either because it seemed to eco warrior. I thought purple would be an interesting one, could be quite quirky but would need the right one. Unfortunately when I went through them I couldn't find an appropriate one. Which left me with blue and orange.
These two colours seem to work really well together, they're very bright and optimistic and they seem quite contemporary. When printed the colours are even more vibrant.
