Today me and Ian decided on a name for the event: 'electronic waves'. While we were trying to think of potential winners Ian got into conversation with someone and tried to describe a particular artist with his description being 'ambient but with electronic waves running through'. I thought this was a really interesting way of putting it and probably quite suitable. We thought that it could be a good idea to have 'waves' as the main event, with 'electronic' being just one of the events and other genre's having their own 'waves' event.
Me and Ian decided to test some identities, we decided that the logo should probably be quite neutral in terms of genre so that it doesn't impact on any of the other events. We decided after a few ideas to try and treat it typographically and I looked at quite round examples of type, whereas Ian looked at more pointed options.
