Spent Wednesday and Thursday putting all the final content in each page and checking through written content to make sure it all made sense and was correct.
Also went through all the photographs we had received and checked their sizes and colour mode etc. There were a few mistakes/details to follow up so I checked them at the meeting I had with the photography students that day. I also went through with the photography students each students work and suggested some changes that might be considered to aid the flow of the book and to present the photographer in the best possible way. We also ran through the ordering of the book, since photography wanted to mix the photography genres to come.
After this, I went through and ordered the master document and filled in each page with the information we had collected. I've then started to drop images into the pages and think about how best to display them. It's not only the size/shape of the image but I think it's also important to consider how the positioning reflects the statement. And that's what I've started to do here.
There are a lot of changes to make regarding this but it's good to see how it's finally starting to come together.
Chloe is working on the contents pages this weekend and also starting to put images in as well. Because we've already decided on type etc it seemed like a good idea for us all to have a go at placing in the images since then we have more to choose from and it shouldn't take too long. Unfortunately because of having to wait for photography to decide the order of the book before I could put together the master document and the bank holiday interfering this has meant that only myself and Chloe were able to start this this weekend. So Carl and Heather will need to do this at the beginning of the week so we can get a move on later on in the week.
