Me and Heather sat together today to think about these boxes, we definitely want them transparent so that we're not covering too much of the images and so they're EXPOSED. We've just been looking at the positioning and what problems we might have to deal with if we want to keep it consistently there. When the box isn't overlapping a full bleed photo it looks bad, and doesn't sit right so it might be that we always need to have a photo that goes full bleed, otherwise this needs addressing. To makesure it's not going to make the publication too samey, it might mean that we can almost reflect the layouts so the box moves over to the other page. Also little things like bringing the image across onto the other page make the layout seem more dynamic and get us away from a very boxy layout. Also I looked a bit more at the type within the box and what sort of weight and gaps etc we need to use, the fourth box is what I'm working with at the moment but I'm considering knocking it down to sentence case for the headings, I think at the moment it's a bit too imposing or aggressive or something I'm not sure.
