Myself and Heather looked at quite a lot of different typefaces as a secondary typeface. We used the 3 from the cover Chloe designed and tried to sit the type next to it. We also tried it next to Helvetica which we presume will be used for the body copy to maintain consistency to other college publications. After going through about 40 typefaces we came to the conclusion that a sans serif typeface suited our needs more. Since it still needed to be quite strong and bold, but also with our concept of Expose we wanted to use things in their almost raw state, and so using a sans serif fits quite well with that since it has been almost stripped down to it's structure. This idea of being stripped down also applies to our choice of stock, which we would like to be uncoated and for the cover an unbleached board. Our chosen typeface that we're working with at the moment is Knockout, sample page to come...
