The purpose of having this poster was to put up in the office and so there was something communal and always visable that people could refer to. However when I started doing it I didn't really want to have another format which was basically just a grid of the diagrams, it was very boxy, and although I think that worked for some deliverables I don't think it was suitable for this. Also I thought that rather than just designing a poster that simply states the sign and letter it might be a good way to test workers. The eye chart approach seemed like a good option for this. It has more variety than a gridded option and also for me personally, I can't help but test myself when I see an eye chart, so I'm hoping that that kind of curiosity can be transferred to this poster. And rather than a forced test situation it becomes off the employees own back. Since it's more communal perhaps that can encourage competition between workers.
